Seawall Cap Rebuild — Before & In Progress

Two seawalls that came in needing help and one caught mid-repair. The first two photos show what a failing cap looks like from the yard — cracked joints, blown-out corners, exposed rebar and gravel washing through to the water. The third photo is the same style of repair in progress: the failed cap has been demoed off, a new rebar cage has been tied into the existing wall and formed up along the waterline, ready for a fresh concrete pour. Catching a cap while it's still just cracked is the difference between rebuilding a cap and rebuilding the whole wall.
